What does your 2 year old do while your in the shower?

I don't wash my hair everyday so most days I can shower in 3 min flat. As most mothers of young children know this is necessary when your kids are running around unsupervised. Lately Conner has gotten himself into a lot of trouble during those short 3 min.

No room is safe from him. Last week in the kitchen he pushed a chair up to the sink and turned it on, flooding the kitchen. Another day he pushed a chair up to the cupboard and broke a glass, luckily he wasn't hurt. And the cookies are never safe from him. No room is safe actually. If i let him in my room he will dump out the hampers and use those to climb on to play with the TV and DVD player. Or he will take out every DVD from its case and every DVD paper from the cover. We've had to replace a lot of DVDs. So you would think the best option is in the bathroom with me where I can keep an eye on him. This room is not so safe either. He would eat an entire tube of toothpaste if I let him. Most days his favorite is to take a swim in the toilet with his good friends plunger and toilet bowl brush. Put my makeup on, dump out Tim's aftershave and cologne. Open the doors to the shower and throw things in there with me, or get in himself, fully clothed. You'd think this was different occasions, but you would be wrong. This kid is fast! Its usually 90% of this stuff every time.

I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and wake up earlier and shower before Tim leaves.

Valentines Day 2011

Conner got a cars backpack for his birthday but I broke the zipper on it. We went to the store and he picked out a toy story backpack. He looks so cute wearing it.

At the beginning of January we went back to Florida to visit. Tim's good friend from school got married and we went on a lot of double dates with them while living there. They got married in St. Augustine on the roof of a historical hotel. The wedding was beautiful and we were happy to be apart of their special day. Tim's sister and her husband moved to Jacksonville 3 months after we moved home. They are there for law school and we had a great time hanging out with them.

Conner gets so excited when Tim gets home from work. Daddy can play things that mommy cant and of course its always more fun when you can be rough!

Christmas 2010

We spent Christmas Eve at my cousins house. We had dinner, did a pinata, read the christmas story and opened christmas pjs. We had a lot of fun.

We spent the night at my moms on christmas eve. It was fun to be able to watch Lindsey's kids open their presents.

Conner was wiped out after all the present opening at both grandparents. He curled up with his new pillow pet and took a long nap!

Valentines Day

Tim and I have had 4 Valentines Day's together. I feel like we've been together forever but I also cant believe its been 4 years. Time flies when your having fun. I tried to find some pictures of us on Valentines day or near it each year. Tim and I don't take very many pictures, if we do its usually of Conner so this was kind of a hard task for me.

Our first Valentine's Day we were dating. We did take a picture that night, but I couldn't find it. This is the night we got engaged. It was just over a month after Valentines Day. For Valentines this year we went to PF Chang's and to a movie, Over Her Dead Body.

Our second Valentines we had just had Conner. Kalli babysat for us and we went to dinner at Tucanos I think and for a drive with hot chocolate.

We were excited to have a new Valentine this year.

Our Third year we went to PF Changs and to see the movie Valentines Day. This year we were living in Florida. This picture was on our anniversary that year. I cant believe we didn't take a picture together until JUNE of that year. Sad. Maybe that should be our new years resolution.

This year we went to PF Changs again (I think we'll keep this as our tradition as much as we can. Next year we'll probably be living in Billings and they don't have one there, but we'll go when we can! We love it). Afterwards we went to a play at The Hale in Orem. We met two couples there to see "The Foreigner." Tim's parents, cousins and aunt were there as well, so it was a family event. This play was hilarious! We have never seen a play there that we didn't laugh at. We've only been to 3 or 4 but they were all good. Afterwards we went with our friends to Denny's for hot chocolate and ice cream.

I love you Tim and I am so happy to be your Valentine. Your perfect for me. 4 Valentines down, a million to go!
