Home for the Holidays!

Tim and I had a good Thanksgiving together. It was sad that it was just the two of us, but we were proud of ourselves for making dinner all on our own. Conner and I are coming home for Christmas for 3 weeks, I am so excited! Tim was suppose to come for 3 weeks as well, but he just got an internship for school working at the airport, so were not sure how long he will be able to stay. But we are excited to see all of our family and friends. We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Here are some random picures of Conner

They had a little fair at the mall by our house, so we took Conner. He hated the merry go round.. he cried the whole time, but in his defense the horse would shake when it went up and down, I would be scared too. This is the only ride he could go on. He liked the people watching though, carnies are the best!

Conner getting ready for the Utah weather!

It will be an adjustment for all of us. It is still 75 and sunny here, it gets down to 65 at night and we wear coats! In Utah we'd probably still be swimming in that weather!

Crazy Kid

Conner decided that it would be fun to make dinner for us. Too bad he decided to make it on the couch instead! Yum doesnt that look good!

At least he had fun!
I couldn't stay mad at him for too long.. He's too cute. He is also walking and has gotten 5 teeth in the last 4 weeks and has 1 on the way!

I found a recipe for these cake pops here. I made them to send to my niece Katelyn for her birthday. They are so good, but small so you end up eating 10!

Halloween 2009

For Halloween we went Trick or Treating at the Mall by our house. All of the stores have buckets of candy at the entrance, and you just walk by each one picking up the candy you want. Its really convenient when you have a baby in a stroller. There were so many other little kids there and they all looked to cute. It's funny how different Florida is from Utah when it comes to babies. There are so many people in Utah with babies, but out here there are hardly any. So any time we go to the mall, grocery store, out to eat, the bank, anywhere, everyone has to come up to Conner and talk to him and find out how much he weighs, how tall he is, how old he is, if he can walk, crawl, has any teeth, etc. Even when Conner isn't with me and I'm buying something for him like diapers or formula, the cashier and the other people in line will ask about him. When we go out to eat our waiters will tell all the other waiters that there is a baby at their table and they will all come to see him, its so funny its like they've never seen a baby before. So trick or treating at the mall was the same, everyone wanted to see the cute little chicken. We didnt get Conner too much candy because we knew mom and dad would be the ones to eat it. And we did end up getting one little trick or treater at our apartment, he was dressed as santa, too cute. I hope you all had a fun and safe halloween!
