Crazy Cute Conner

I haven't updated on Conner lately so here are some pictures of some things we did before Drew was born. These are all out of order so bare with me.

Cute little Conner
Last year Tim gave me this necklace with Conner's charm on it. This year he gave me Drew's charm to add to it. I love it and wear it all the time. He got it at The Vintage Pearl online

We went to the park a lot to burn off all that energy he has. This day we went with my friend and her little girl Brooklyn.

Brooklyn

Conner has been in a program called Kids on the move for sensory therapy(sensory processing-basically Conner's little body needs more movement than most do to be happy, another post on that later). He got to be apart of a playgroup they had. There were 3 other kids in the class, Laurn, Preston, and Gabe. They don't have the playgroup during the summer and we have missed it so much. They did singing time, play time and snack time. It was so much fun.

Going inside the building. He was always so excited when we got there.

singing time, the hat song, Conner's favorite.

This room is called the ball room and it is awesome!

Conner loves to line up everything. He does it a lot with his cars. He lined up these animals and I was impressed that he put all the pairs together.

Conner got a couple little cars, an Aladdin book and a picture of Christ for his room.

Swing Set

Tim and I decided at the beginning of the summer that we needed to invest in a swing set for a cute busy little two year old. Hopefully something that would keep him a little occupied once Drew arrived. After looking at a few Tim decided that he could build his own, and thats exactly what he did. He looked at a bunch and designed his own to fit everything we wanted on it. Conner loves it and so do all the cousins and friends. Here are some pics of it through the process and the finished result. Thanks Tim! Your a great dad and handyman! Conner, Drew and I are lucky to have you!

He built the swing part first which gave Conner something to do while he bought and built the rest.

After the swings were done Conner kept saying, "thank you daddy! thank you daddy!"

The finished product

I think it's awesome and enjoy playing on it myself! Thanks again Tim! Your the best :-)

Two peas in a pod

I really never realized how much Conner and Drew do look alike until I was looking at some old pictures of Conner. Here are a couple for you to compare.

Drew

Andrew Eric Henderson born May 12, 2011 7 lbs 14 oz 20 in. We are so excited to have Drew here! He is such a good baby and as sweet as can be. He is already sleeping from 10-8 only waking up once to eat. Conner adores him and asks to hold him all day long. He always wants him out with us and cries when he sleeps in his crib with the door shut. Conner loves to try and share things with Drew, things like cheetos and candy. He also tries to get me to put chocolate milk in Drew's bottle like I put in his sippy cup. We're working on Conner being soft with him, and for anyone who knows Conner knows this kid is anything but soft! So we always tell him he can hold his hand or foot. So he holds them all day long, even in the car. It's really sweet. Here are some pictures from the hospital and home.

First family photo
Andrew Eric Henderson- His middle name is after Tim's brother Eric who sadly passed away in a plane crash 4 years ago. We are so glad we were able to honor him and name Drew after him.

First bath

He loved it and didn't cry at all

Drew was born with what they called a skin tag on his left eye. He had a tiny piece of his eyelid that hadn't come apart. The two pediatricians who saw him in the hospital and the pediatric ophthalmologist who saw him all said that in all their years of practice, some 30+ years, had never seen it and had only heard about it. The ophthalmologist just took a tiny pair of scissors and cut it. Drew slept through the whole thing!

such cute brothers
I thought this one was funny

Everyone always asks if Conner and Drew look alike. I think they look like brothers, but not too much alike. Here is a picture of them in the same outfit.

Some pictures of Conner and Drew

Like I said before Conner is always holding Drew's hand, especially in the car. The other day I found them both asleep holding hands. It was so cute.

We are grateful to have Drew in our family and are enjoying having his sweet spirit in our home.
