Update

Well sorry we've been MIA for awhile, hopefully people still read our blog. The most important news to update on is the newest memeber of my sister's family. Lindsey and Bryan welcomed Claire Maree Cowley on June 22, 2010. She is the sweetest baby and so good. All she does is eat and sleep, Cody even asked Lindsey if she knows how to cry. I cant get enough of her, and niether can Conner. Conner is obsessed with her to say the least. Whenever she's around he has to go give her a kiss every 5 min. We always tell him to be nice and soft, so now he always runs over to her and says, "baby! ice!(nice)baby! ice!." Its really cute, and were so glad that she is here! I have a lot to update on, but I will break up so they aren't so long... So dont worry Nicole, you will have a lot to read over the next couple of weeks!;-)

We had a great 4th of July. We spent it with my family and with Tim's. Here are some pictures from the swim party Tim's mom had. Conner liked the slip and slide. It actually worked out quite well for him, he would just try to walk down it, and he'd slip and slide down.

I thought this one was funny.

Conner loves playing with his cousins. This is Myah, she is always so nice to play with Conner, he just loves her.

This was his look the whole time watching fireworks.. he looks so concerned.

Tim and I went to Stadium of Fire. It was a lot of fun, I love Carrie Underwood. The 2 hour drive to our home 5 miles away however, was not so fun!!

Some of the fireworks shot into the audience instead of the air and burned some people, so they ended the firework show early. But it was still really good.

My sister and brother are here right now and it is so good to spend some time with them. Conner loves playing with all of his cousins, and the all seem to love him.

Next Post I'll tell you about my trip to Illinois to see Lindsey....

Yeah he's on a leash.. dont judge.. until you've traveled alone with this monster you can comment!;-)

McDonalds

The other day I took Conner to McDonalds for lunch. He thinks he's a big boy and can play in the play place. Usually he just climbs onto the first level and can never get any higher, but he's happy with that. Except for the random time actually did get to the top and couldnt figure out how to get down, so I had to go in and get him. Well this time something else fun happened. I had to go to the bathroom real quick before we ate, so like all you mothers out there know, I took Conner into the stall with me. Well this was a newer McDonalds and didnt have the regular slide lock doors, it had those wooden doors with a handle. So as I'm in there, going, Conner decides he's bored, so he opens the door and walks out..... This was a handicap stall so the door was a good 3 feet away.

Lesson Learned: Go in the small stalls so you can hold the door shut!!!

Luckily no one was in there...

P.S. Were home, and we LOVE it!

Were outta here!

We are moving back to Utah next week! We are so excited. We've learned a lot of things being out here in Florida and the main one being that we are so grateful to have grown up in the families that we did and as members of the church. It really is a different world outside of Utah. Call me crazy, but I like the bubble. Here are some pictures of some things we've done our last few weeks.
We went to the beach, Conner really did love it! He use to hate it and be scared.
I took so many pictures that day but I couldnt see the screen on the camera because it was so bright. So i would just point and clink. most of them ended up being of Tim's arm or Conner's feet.. I guess I have a bad aim.

Conner finally figured out how to ride his airplane instead of just pushing it. He loves it.

He feel down today running outside.. Poor kid.

But of course Mom's cell phone and a binky will fix anything.

This picture cracks me up! Conner always knows its time to go when Tim and I get our keys, cell phone and sunglasses. So the other day he really wanted to get out of the house so he got my keys, his cell phone and sunglasses and stood by the door.

Earning his keep. He loves the broom and cries when you put it away, I'm thinking of getting him one of those little kid ones, but he probably wouldnt want that one.

Conner watching Sesame Street, I thought it was funny how he was laying.

I swear he does more than watch tv, but I think its so funny how every time he watches sesame street he gets a little smirk on this face.

There are a lot of religious channels out here and this lady is on all the time, I like her pink wig.

Stupid Post

She looks so different. I do wish I could look that good after 8 kids, 6 all at once.

I dont watch the show but I have seen a few of her performances and I'm so glad that Kate finally got kicked off. She was horrible. And the show is called Dancing with the Stars, she is not a star. I hate that she says she does it to be able to put food on the table for her kids. Her kids are all in school full time, get a real job and get rid of the nannies that you are paying for.
Sorry for the dumb post!!!!!

Easter

This year
Last Year

We had a really nice Easter this year listening to conference and relaxing at home. Its weird to think that last year on Easter we were blessing Conner. Here are some pics of our Easter.

Conner was a big help coloring eggs ;-)

Our eggs they turned out okay. I forgot about them and they boiled for so long some of them cracked!

Easter morning.

Between Grandma and Nonni it looked like Christmas over here for Conner.

Easter basket from mom and dad.

Dad helping find eggs.

We hope everyone had a great holiday! See you in 3 weeks! Yay!

Conner's Surgery

Conner had tubes put in his ears and his tongue tie fixed last Friday. He did really good and only cried for a little bit afterwards until the pain medication kicked in and then he just slept for a good 2-3 hours. He seems to be healing really well and we notice his tongue sticking out further than it could before. Hopefully this will help him not get ear infections anymore, he's already had 5, first one at 2 weeks old :-(. He was so cute in his hospital gown, I wanted to take one home.. is that weird? One thing I thought was weird was that the nurse gave us the oxygen mask that they used to put him to sleep, she said it was for is memory book.. I think thats kind of weird.

Always with the phone, hey if it keeps him happy I'm happy.

In the play room waiting for his turn.

Haha love it.

Look at those chubby feet!

Just before going in.
There was a couple in the room next to us having tubes put in their little girls ears, she was the same age as Conner. The mom was just bawling and so upset that her baby was having "surgery" while Tim and I are in the next room reading comics to each other and laughing out loud.. She probably thought we were horrible, I asked Tim if I should be crying.. he just laughed and said no. Anyways, Conner seems to be doing well and well see how the tubes help in the future.
