Well I had to blog about my two cute boys today. I know its SO annoying reading peoples blogs when you feel like they are bragging, but I felt like I needed to tell you how great I think Conner and Tim are. Tim is the best husband for me, and the best father for Conner! He knows both of us so well, and knows just what to do to make us smile! I'm so proud of Tim and his dedication to school. He is working so hard in his classes, and still makes time to play with Conner, spend time with me, and help out with things at home! Here is my bragging part, he is taking 4 classes this summer, 2 the first block and 2 the second. He got A's in both of his first block classes, and he is doing so well in his second block classes and even scored the highest on the midterm in one of his classes. For those of you who dont know, Air Traffic Control school/work is really stressful and a lot to take in. I would not be able to do it, I got anxiety just watching a movie on it! I defiantly would feel the pressure with all those lives in my hands. Tim is great and Conner and I are very lucky to have him in our lives! We love you babe! And now on to Conner, what a nut! He's 7 months old, 22lbs(he's huge!) and 26 1/2 in tall. He is too smart for his own good. He is crawling everywhere and has been for a month now! Just the other day Tim and I were sitting on the couch and he pulled himself to stand, and has done it few times since. He only does it if there is something he wants on the couch. He still loves random things a lot more than he likes his toys. He recently figured out that he can crawl behind the couch to get to the cords that we hide from him! He can also find the smallest thing on the floor and get it into his mouth before I can grab it, but he cant feed himself the cherrio puffs that he loves to eat, he still needs us for those! He drinks from a sippy(juice and water). And is always smiling and laughing at things! He is a fun kid and were so happy he's apart of our family! Well theres my brag blog! Sorry I promise not to post another one for a long time!!!

Crazy Conner
Conner is crawling all over the place these days! Its so funny the places you will find him! His favorite thing is rugs.. No matter where he is, he seems to know where the closest rug is and heads straight for it! We, have 4 rugs, so he has a lot to choose from in our little apartment! He just rolls around and balls up the rugs. He also loves to go after shoes, paper, the dvd/vcr, cords, and boxes. So we have to watch him pretty good. Does anyone else feel like their baby/kids like these kind of things more than their toys? It almost makes you not want to buy anymore toys, and just give them, their very own rug and pair of shoes to play with. Conner is so much fun, and such a sweetie. Most of the time he is a cutie, but I think he's teething or something, because he's been extra fussy and clingy lately, but I dont notice any teeth coming in. He has a doctors appointment soon and it will be interesting to see how much he weighs, I'm guessing he's at least 20lbs! In other news, Tim sister Leesa and her husband Clint came to visit us last week! It was so good to see them and we had so much fun. We hung out with them more than anyone back home. They were here for a week, so we had a lot of time to do fun things. We went to the pool, beach, movies, St. Augustine, and played lots of settlers(those of you who havent played this game, you should! Its so fun). They are so much fun, and Conner loves them! We all miss them already!
This is where I found him yesterday! Silly boy!
Conner and the kitchen rug, go figure!
Sorry I didnt flip this one.
Dang this one too! Conner relaxing!
This is the only picture we took while Leesa and Clint were here! Its at the Fort in St. Augustine.

Happy 4th!!
We had a fun 4th of July! We went swimming, to a ward picnic and to a local firework show. I hope everyone had a fun safe holiday! Here's some fun pictures of Conner!
Conner in his goggles that Grandma Gardner gave him. I was laughing so hard! He looks like such a nerd!
Lounging at the pool. Conner loves the water!
Going to the ward picnic

The picnic was at the National Guard and they had a ton of old airplanes there.
Silly Boy!
On the plane ride home from Salt lake the only way Conner could fall asleep was to sit in his own seat. He rode like this for 2 hours. SO CUTE!
Conner can crawl! He's starting to crawl a little bit, he gets up on his hands and knees, and even his toes sometimes. But he can defiantly get around. He's too little for this! Sorry about the words on it at the beginning. We had to convert the video and it ended up with that on it at the beginning. Its so cute though, watch it to the end to hear his cute laugh!

YUM!
I know its summer, and this isnt something you usually eat during the summer, but I had to share this recipe with you! It is so good, and very simple to make.
Chili Con Carne-this recipe came from my cousin Rebecca
1 pound ground beef
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can(about 15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can(11 1/8 ounces) CAMPBELL'S condensed Italian Tomato Soup-I usually just use regular Tomato, and it works just as well.
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
tortilla chips, sour cream, fresh cilantro, chili powder and cheese for garnish.
-In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and green pepper until beef is browned and pepper is tender, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat.
-Stir in beans, soup, water, 2 tablespoons chili powder and vinegar. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low. Cook, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. And then garnish with your choice of toppings.
Cornbread- my mother in laws recipe, so good!!
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box cornbread mix
- mix dry cake mix and dry cornbread mix together.
-follow directions on the cake mix.
Tim and I love having this for dinner! Try it sometime!

1 year down, forever to go!

Tim and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on June 11th! We were lucky enough to celebrate with all of family by going to the Salt Lake Temple to be sealed together as a family forever. My mom watched Conner for us so we could go to dinner and a movie and stay in a hotel for our anniversary. It was our first night away from Conner, and as much as we missed him, it was a much needed break! We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to be together forever! We have done a lot in one year. We moved 3 times, one of the moves was across the country. We've owned 4 different cars. Tim has attended 2 schools. We've had 3 different jobs. We had a baby! And so many other things! Were excited for all of the wonderful memories that are ahead of us!
