What we've been up too

I thought I would post some pictures of what we've been up too lately. So this will be a really random post.

St. Patricks Day

I made green eggs and green crepes for breakfast with green milk and orange juice.

Tim thought the food was great!

Conner on the other hand would not even touch his. He loves eggs and kept crying for them, no matter how many times we told him that the green stuff on his plate was eggs he refused to eat them. It was hilarious.

So he had cereal instead!

Happy St. Patricks Day!
This is what Conner does when you tell him to show you his teeth.

Conner found some plastic that was used to cover a mattress we were storing.

He thought it was great to play with!

Cute kid!
Conner's been going to a mommy and me gymnastics class. Tim doesn't like me to say he's in gymnastics, he likes me to say that Conner goes to the gym. Boys are so funny. Conner loves it! They jump on tramps and walk the balance beam, do flips on the bars and jump into a big foam pit. Conner's favorite is the tramp and foam pit. He'll sleep for 3+ hours after class. I'm thinking of installing a foam pit in my house to use everyday. I wish!!

Tim will kill me for putting these pictures up. He's really good to help out with dinner, and I made him put my apron on one night. As I'm taking these pictures he was telling me that he better not see them on our blog. But I just couldn't resist!

Love you babe!

A few weeks ago a friend of mine took our kids to the new Provo Beach Resort. It was a lot of fun. They have a fake wave, arcade games, play places for kids, a carousel, bowling, croquet, a ropes course and food. They kids had fun playing in the play place. If you haven't been there yet I highly recommend it! Its a lot of fun. Tim and I did croquet for a date and we both had a great time.

Cute little Brooklyn

Cute Conner!

Well only 8 more weeks until my due date! I can't believe we'll have another little monster around here soon!

What does your 2 year old do while your in the shower?

I don't wash my hair everyday so most days I can shower in 3 min flat. As most mothers of young children know this is necessary when your kids are running around unsupervised. Lately Conner has gotten himself into a lot of trouble during those short 3 min.

No room is safe from him. Last week in the kitchen he pushed a chair up to the sink and turned it on, flooding the kitchen. Another day he pushed a chair up to the cupboard and broke a glass, luckily he wasn't hurt. And the cookies are never safe from him. No room is safe actually. If i let him in my room he will dump out the hampers and use those to climb on to play with the TV and DVD player. Or he will take out every DVD from its case and every DVD paper from the cover. We've had to replace a lot of DVDs. So you would think the best option is in the bathroom with me where I can keep an eye on him. This room is not so safe either. He would eat an entire tube of toothpaste if I let him. Most days his favorite is to take a swim in the toilet with his good friends plunger and toilet bowl brush. Put my makeup on, dump out Tim's aftershave and cologne. Open the doors to the shower and throw things in there with me, or get in himself, fully clothed. You'd think this was different occasions, but you would be wrong. This kid is fast! Its usually 90% of this stuff every time.

I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and wake up earlier and shower before Tim leaves.

Here are some pictures of what he did today. Luckily only one DVD was broken.

Catch Up

Alright some of these are a little random but I thought I would update on everything I havent posted about yet.

Valentines Day 2011

Love bed head

We had pink heart shaped pancakes.

Conner making valentines cookies for his cousins.

Conner got a cars backpack for his birthday but I broke the zipper on it. We went to the store and he picked out a toy story backpack. He looks so cute wearing it.

At the beginning of January we went back to Florida to visit. Tim's good friend from school got married and we went on a lot of double dates with them while living there. They got married in St. Augustine on the roof of a historical hotel. The wedding was beautiful and we were happy to be apart of their special day. Tim's sister and her husband moved to Jacksonville 3 months after we moved home. They are there for law school and we had a great time hanging out with them.

The bride and groom. Sorry for the poor quality.

Conner gets so excited when Tim gets home from work. Daddy can play things that mommy cant and of course its always more fun when you can be rough!

Christmas 2010

We spent Christmas Eve at my cousins house. We had dinner, did a pinata, read the christmas story and opened christmas pjs. We had a lot of fun.

Claire hitting the pinata. We go youngest to oldest.

We spent the night at my moms on christmas eve. It was fun to be able to watch Lindsey's kids open their presents.

The Mcqueen Lindsey's family gave him

The big present from Santa.

Conner was wiped out after all the present opening at both grandparents. He curled up with his new pillow pet and took a long nap!
Hope you all had a great holiday season!

Valentines Day

Tim and I have had 4 Valentines Day's together. I feel like we've been together forever but I also cant believe its been 4 years. Time flies when your having fun. I tried to find some pictures of us on Valentines day or near it each year. Tim and I don't take very many pictures, if we do its usually of Conner so this was kind of a hard task for me.

Our first Valentine's Day we were dating. We did take a picture that night, but I couldn't find it. This is the night we got engaged. It was just over a month after Valentines Day. For Valentines this year we went to PF Chang's and to a movie, Over Her Dead Body.

Our second Valentines we had just had Conner. Kalli babysat for us and we went to dinner at Tucanos I think and for a drive with hot chocolate.

We were excited to have a new Valentine this year.

Our Third year we went to PF Changs and to see the movie Valentines Day. This year we were living in Florida. This picture was on our anniversary that year. I cant believe we didn't take a picture together until JUNE of that year. Sad. Maybe that should be our new years resolution.

This year we went to PF Changs again (I think we'll keep this as our tradition as much as we can. Next year we'll probably be living in Billings and they don't have one there, but we'll go when we can! We love it). Afterwards we went to a play at The Hale in Orem. We met two couples there to see "The Foreigner." Tim's parents, cousins and aunt were there as well, so it was a family event. This play was hilarious! We have never seen a play there that we didn't laugh at. We've only been to 3 or 4 but they were all good. Afterwards we went with our friends to Denny's for hot chocolate and ice cream.
I love you Tim and I am so happy to be your Valentine. Your perfect for me. 4 Valentines down, a million to go!

Conner's 2nd Birthday Party

Seems like just yesterday....

We had Conner's birthday party yesterday. He had a Lightning McQueen party and really had a good time with his cousins. Before the party he and all his cousins got to take a tour of the fire station. Conner loves trucks, cars and especially fire trucks, but unfortunately their fire truck was on a call while we were there, but they did get to see the ambulance.

Lately Conner does not want to smile for pictures, I guess he just doesn't want to be bothered or something, ha. But he did have great time here and cried when he couldn't play in the truck anymore.

The kids inside the ambulance.

Watching the sirens and lights.

The Party:

We tried to make the table's look like roads.

My dad made this cake for Conner and he loved it!

My camera died before he opened presents, so I don't have any of those on here. But he sure was spoiled. I didn't even end up giving him all the presents from Tim and I because he was so overwhelmed with all the one's from cousins and grandparents. It was really funny to watch him when it was all over with. His cousins just swarmed him and opened all of his presents for him and for about 5 min after it was over he just stared off into space with a little smile on his face like he wasn't quite sure what just happened. He loved all of his gifts and even had to sleep with a few.

In his Lightning McQueen pj's and slippers the next morning.

Playing with Mack and his cars.

Happy Birthday Conner! We love you very much and are very grateful that you are apart of our family.
